Learning Target: SWBAT... improve their grades by assessing what assignments they scored too low on or are missing and improving them or turning them in.

1. Look at grades!!! Assess what you are missing and what you need to finish and turn in.

2. Work time:
   a. Work on any missing assignments!!! Turn them in.

   b. Turn your SELF-PORTRAIT  in to my teacher folder!!!! I need a JPG and PSD file!!!
I am going to print them over break.

   c. GRADE YOURSELF using the rubric for self portraits. UNDERLINE all the areas and sentences that apply to your piece. Read through the entire rubric (notice the A column is above and beyond the basics)
What questions do you have about this rubric? What do you not understand about it?

   d. Work on Letter project. Remember, you may ONLY USE THE TEXT TOOL AND PAINT BUCKET TOOL. No shape tool or pen/pencil tool!!!! You may warp letters only if you can still distinguish the original letter. This is a critical thinking project! How creative can you be???? How will you think outside the box?

3. Sketchbook #6 Due Friday Feb 28
Choose one font, any font you want. Using this font, type the first letter of your first name OR the first letter of your last name in size 400 or big enough that it takes up most of the page. Print this page and create a drawing that incorporates the letter in some way. The drawing has to be about you in some way (ex: an ice cream cone because you like ice cream, mountains because you like the outdoors, etc.) the drawing should take up the whole page, like last week. Write one sentence that says what font you used and why the picture you drew represents you.
